It is amazing to ...This is very interesting indeed! It is amazing to know that Minoans and Mycenaeans were largely the same genetically, just with the latter having northern Eurasian/Eastern European ancestry mixed in. That would indeed seem to indicate that this northern Eurasian admixture also brought their Indo-European language with them. It would be interesting to know how the mysterious Pelasgians of ancient myth fit into this... perhaps they were the ones who still spoke their older language and adhered to a more Aegean/Minoan like culture while others had adopted Hellenic language and customs.
