Boedromion updates

A while ago, I decided that on the day of the Hene kai Nea, I'd post a monthly update about things that happened on the blog. This month was an interesting one, blog wise, but a slow one on the Hellenic festivals front.

Changes to the blog:

• I will updated the Google festival calendar for the coming month today, when I get back from helping my girlfriend's grandfather out with his computer, and I will add at least another month soon.
• I will also respond to all the replies left on the blog and the Youtube channel today. Sorry! Life has been a little hectic on occasion and your wonderful notes fell through the cracks...
• The Hellenic Terminology Page was updated with the latest terms.
• The Plataia, sacrifice to Basile in Erchia, the Genesia, the sacrifice to Epops at Erchia, the Kharisteria, and the Boedromia got linked on the Hellenic Festival Year page, as well as the introductory post for the Eleusinian Greater Mysteries.
• The last month, the Pagan Blog Project Posts were on: Races, running and wrestling: the ancient Panhellenic sports, the Spartoi, On the continued influence of sin, on a Traditional approach to Hellenism, and on Tithing and speaking up.

Statistics:

• In this month, the blog hit 85.000 views, not counting the views on PaganSquare
• A little over 9.500 of those happened in the last month
• The top five most popular posts were: PBP: Symbols of Hellenismos (227), News on the Hellenic Revival Festival in Louisiana, USA (125), On the incompatibility of Hellenismos and (Neo-)Wicca (113), Preparing for the Eleusinian Mysteries (102), and The Niketeria (95)

Anything else?

I hit 80.000 hits this month! I don't care about the figures at all--even if just ten people came to my blog, I'd still be blogging in the same way--but I like round numbers. I also posted 400 messages to the Baring the Aegis Twitter account ( @baringtheaegis ) since starting it up to give you guys another way to track the posts. Also, the Baring the Aegis Facebook page now has 165 likes! When did that happen? Last I checked, I was at 125, so thank you.

Elaion will be hosting another PAT ritual next month: the Pyanepsia. Will you be joining us Saturday, October 12, 2013? We will settle on a time soon.

Again, I would also like to take this opportunity to touch bases with you, my wonderful reader. Is there anything you would like to see more of on the blog? Or less? Do you have certain topics you feel I have been neglecting or questions you think I might be able to answer? I love writing specifically for you guys, so please, let me know!
