Changes to the blog:
- I have added a work-in-progress Reading List to Baring the Aegis. It can be found under the 'Go To' menu off to the left side
- The quest to clean up my insane amount of labels continues... and I am actually making progress!
- I will update the Google festival calendar today
- I will also respond to all the replies left on the blog today. Sorry! Life has been a little hectic on occasion and your wonderful notes fell through the cracks...
- The Hellenic Terminology Page was updated with the latest terms
- The festivals of Kronia, and Panathenaia got linked in the Hellenic Festival Year page
- The last two months, the Pagan Blog Project Posts were on: the lotus-eaters, mēria, the portion of the Gods, meditation in ancient Hellas, the navel of the world, Niobe, bird divination called 'oiônoskopos', and the ritual scream called 'ololyge'.
Statistics:
- In this month, the blog hit 67.000 views, not counting the views on PaganSquare
- A little over 15.000 of those happened in the last two months
- The top five most popular posts were: Hekate's crossroads (197), Have you ever wondered how to pronounce the names of the Gods? (86), Cara Schulz on Hekate and the basics of Hellenismos (70), PBP: Personal Patronage in Hellenismos (58), and Tropes in the Iliad and Odysseia (57)
Anything else?
I cannot have escaped your attention that Elaion, the Hellenistic organization I am associated with has joined Facebook about three weeks ago. We're up to 85 members now, but would love to have you as well, if you feel so inclined. It's a place to ask questions, have a good discussion, and enter PAT rituals with others who practice our faith. I hope to see you there!
